The bathroom area is limited and we want to separate dry and wet areas. How to determine the actual size of the shower room?
1. Determine according to the height of the shower room
The height of the suspended ceiling in modern home decoration is usually 2.4m, so the height of the shower room is generally between 1.85-2m. If the adults in the family are taller, the height of the shower room can be increased appropriately.
2. Determine according to the width of the shower room door opening
For a double-door shower room with one solid and one movable door, the width is generally not less than 1200mm and the width of the movable door is not less than 460mm, otherwise it will be difficult to get in and out. The width of a three-door shower room with two solid and one movable doors must be no less than 1400mm, and the width of the movable door must be 650mm to ensure normal opening and closing.
No matter what kind of shower room it is, the minimum size cannot be less than 800*800mm, otherwise the bathroom activities will be restricted. The size of the shower room suitable for normal adult bathing is 900*900mm. It has enough space for activities and does not occupy the space for other supplies. It is relatively practical.
